Ethnic Living
May 2nd

Before everything, I'd like to rant a little bit... I receive often mails from people who complain about the Sims 1 sites that are closing or the lack of updates of the sites that are still online. I get one of those mails just this morning, while I was all happy to be able to send another Sims 1 update, two weeks after the previous one. And you know what? This kind of mails tends to discorage me more than anything else. I'm still going to post this update, of course, as it's ready, but instead of complaining all the time about sites that close or don't update enough often, if people could ask can themself what they have done to keep these sites online? When was your last donation or mail to say you're happy? I bet that all the ranting people won't read those lines, anyway, but I just needed to recall that we're all responsible of the sites we have online by the things we do or by the things we don't.

This said... Back to our update: it's a living-room I made some months ago for Sims 2 and that I began to convert for Sims 1 but I had more or less gave up the project, when the inspiration came back again, and here's the Ethnic Living-room; that you're free to recolor, if you want. I hope you'll enjoy!
This and That again

Another update with various things that couldn't enter in only one category...
To avoid a headache to my sweet donators, all the files of the update can be download in a single file, here (3,67Mo).
Here's the detailed menu of the goodies of he day!

"The Green Man" add-ons

The irish pub made by Kate, at Parsimonious, has always been one of my very favorite sets, and I thought it would be nice if Sims could eat irish meals there, or if they could sing or listen to a musician, as it's so common in pubs. So, Kate gave me her authorization to add few objects of mine to complete this great set, and you'll be able to find a karaoke scene and a newspaper stand (it works like a bookcase except that Sims read newspapers instead of books), and of course, food-obsessive as I am, an irish buffet offering 5 meals, from the famous irish stew to the Dublin's coddle.

Posters for Pubs

To complete the look of your pub, find also 12 posters. I know I've already seen some at other sites, but as I was totally unable to refind them, I made new ones... :/

British Holidays

I have a Bed & Breakfast in my Vacations Island, and it's supposed to be located in the english country, so I thought it couldn't be without a british mailbox and phonebooth.

Project Hern's Files

I don't know if you remember or have heard of it, but in 2004, there was a fundraiser called the Project Hern for a member of the Sims community. I made few seats and misc objects for that at this time, and now offer them to you all.

Fix of the day

Last, an update wouldn't be complete without a tiny thing to fix... If you have troubles with the Hacker Office's assembling table, you can now redownload it, with a .BMP file in 256 colors (it didn't cause any troubles to my game, but it might in yours). Please redownload the file here.
